Wednesday Therapeutic Yoga class with Jon Witt

About the Event

The class is donation based.

This therapeutic yoga class we will use restorative use passive holds with props ( a yoga strap, two blocks, and a bolster) if you do have a bolster you can use pillows. In addition to the restorative poses, I will be using light active holds/movements to help strengthen hips shoulders and spine. These exercises will help prevent injuries. Also, I will be using some breath work to complement passive and active restorative practice. This class will be a great addition to your existing practice. We understand that not all practitioners will have these props at home. So it could be an eye pillow, towels, cushions, or any essential oils that can cover the eyes to use at the end of the class. To be creative, anything you can think of and help the relaxation would be great for the class. Space is limited.
