I will be using my online platform classes indefinitely until we as humans are no longer at risk to one another. I will also be making shorter videos on the subject of back care- yoga for scoliosis- healthy knees, healthy shoulders, chair yoga and mobility with flexibility. You can always email me with any questions you may have, to help you along the way.

With the Zoom experience we will set you up so I can see you during the class to give you feedback as how to create healthier stronger practice. I will be available after all classes to answer any questions you may have. This is very much like taking class live or having a private with me.

Once you sign-up, you will receive an e-mail with the "join Zoom meeting" button to access to the class. Please email me if you don't receive the link within an hour. Space is limited.

Class intro:

Level 1 – This is a fundamental class deigned to help you feel great and to understand how to build a great yoga practice. I will use specific language and techniques to optimize each pose along side giving many tips along the way in creating an accessible but dynamic experience.  

 

Level 2 – Is a class designed to help you build beyond the basic level into being more on your hands. Deeper forward folds, hip opening, core building. Preparing the body to be upside down will be the focus- we will Not practice hands stands but the class will support you in building the foundation to one day be upside down in handstand.

 

Giving back:

10% of the total cost will donate to our mask making project for social workers, doctors and nurses. We is making masks and giving out for free to people who are in need. We spoke to some workers, some of them have been using the same masks for multiple days. With the cloth masks covering the surgical masks, their masks can last longer.

SUN SALUTATION A & B

The sequential base for most modern forms of vinyasa yoga. Used to help build internal heat, strength, integration, awareness, and breathing patterns with each transition. Use to help move the practice from one pose to the next sequential position. The first transition is the A sequence teaches how to lift- predominately a pushing action will help develop shoulders from hand balancing to eventually jumping though arms to seated poses. The B sequence has more movements to progress from the basis of A sequence. Both linear lines using both symmetrical and asymmetrical transitions and volume make it a more complex set of movements.

This class you will be learning to kick up, comprehending to hold the weight in handstand through the activation of your finger tips, side spilts and forward fold with sliding blocks.

HANDSTAND PREP - FOCUS HAMSTRINGS & BALANCING

 

This class is mobilizing the connected tissue of the feet, by mobilizing the tissue, you will balance better and flexibility of the hamstrings.

SATURDAY MORNING PRACTICE- BALANCING - WORKING UP TOWARDS TO HALF MOON

 

Practice is based in preparing to balance in Half Moon. Understanding where your weight sits in feet will help you understand why you can balance or why you fall out of balancing poses. Lateral side bends- Warrior 3 series for hamstrings- Half moon from Triangle and side angle. Fish Pose- Hip series to release post capsule of the pelvis.

SERIES- HAND STAND CONDITIONING

 

Front Lateral Hip Opening to prep Front Splits- Asymetrical Backends Anterior Flexibity Thoracic Mobilty. Front Split w Chair- Ankle to Knee

SHOULDER/ HIP MOBILITY - HS CONDITION - KETTLEBELL

 

Front Split Strengthen shoulders for external rotation for HS. Mobilize hips for flexibility of lower body and spine. Preparation for front splits, working towards weighted splits.

SHOULDER MOBILITY - BACKBENDS - TWISTS

 

Mobility of neck, shoulders and spine to improve posture for healthier back bends. Twisting the spine to prepare for asymmetrical camel pose.

LATERAL HIP OPENING - STRAP FOR FLEXIBILITY

 

A class built into exposing hips and hamstrings for those avoiding forward folds. Strengthening the hips will improve hip and spine function.

HATHA YOGA CLASS - 60MINS

Preparation for handstand. This class you will be learning how to create a better line to help you achieve your first handstand. Core conditioning, shoulder alignment with hip and spine mobility. Bullet points how to practice throughout the week to develop a more well rounded healthier practice.

REEDUCATING THE SHOULDERS

This class focuses on shoulder mobility, with passive and dynamic stretching for flexibility of the shoulder.The mobility and flexibility of the shoulder will transfer into more options in terms of practice. 

SELF ADJUSTING BODY WITH THE WALL

The class is designed to help open hips laterally with the support of the wall.The wall provides support and stability in assisting better posture structurally. Adjust your posing triangle, side angle, warrior 2 sukhasana, badha konasana and ankle to knee pose by leaning into the wall.

FRIDAY MORNING YOGA PRACTICE - SPILTS - HANDSTAND PREP

 

This is a class to prepare for handstand and all kind of arm balancing.

BASIC LATERAL HIP ON FEET AND FLOOR

 

Basic Lateral Opening- Side Bending- Prep seated poses- Modified Sun B- Warrior 2/Side Angle Learning to step forward from down dog. Closed hip for future split and Backbends. Wide angle seated series. Closed stance forward bend- circular supine twist.

MEDITATION + LATERAL HIP OPENING+ FUNDAMENTAL WARRIOR POSES

 

Combo opening between tabletop and Cobbler pose variation to strengthen shoulder hips and spine. Will help lateral warriors, plank variations.Class has warrior 2, Side angle- a lunge series leading to asymmetrical camel.

SPLITS - HANDSTAND CONDITIONING

 

A practice to build a higher level of practice. The splits and handstands can be a progressively safe way to improve strength, better posture, and flexibility for the whole body.

BUILDING STRENGTH - BASIC

 

A active base level class building strength and flexibility. My objective is to bring grater awareness to help understand to be a more skillful practitioner.

He uses asana(physical postures)-pranayama(breathing exercises)-meditation-props -internal cleansing techniques to help achieve optimal health and wellness.
